Born to Skate“ is a skateboard roadmovie. It deals with the last big trip of the skateboarders Sebastian and Chris. For Sebastian it is a quest for his first true love, which he forgot a long time ago – skateboarding. Chris supports Sebastian and tries to bring him back to his roots. He also works out an intense act of friendship for Sebastian, while making it possible for him to skate with some of the worlds greatest skateboarders before the trip ends and Sebastians life changes into the seriousness of adult existence, because of a regular job. „Born to Skate“ is a story of deep friendship between two neurotic young men and their progress of self-awareness during an act of refusal against our modern achievement-oriented society. The boys try to escape this vicious circle by handling things their own way and putting sense into the madness of life.“
