Steve Berra von The Berrics wirft dem Thrasher und TransWorld Skateboard Magazine indirekt Betrug vor! Was ist passiert?
In der letzten Nacht wurden die Nominierungen für die 16th Annual TransWorld Skateboarding Awards bekannt gegeben (Link). Doch auf der Liste fehlt ein Name, der von Nyjah Huston.
Bei der Thrasher Magazine Skater of the Year Wahl schaffte es Nyjah Huston trotz seines gigantischen Fade to Black Parts nicht über die 7 Runde hinweg.
Für Steve Berra ist das ein Skandal. Er fragt provozierend, ob TWS und Thrasher die Wahlen manipuliert haben?! Berra: "Ich weiß nicht wer mehr scheisse ist, TransWorld oder Thrasher?"
"Transworld, Thrasher, wenn ihr die Leute fragt, abzustimmen, dann zählt auch diese mit … ich weiß wie die Menschen abstimmen, wir machen das die ganze Zeit und lasst mich euch eins erzählen, irgendetwas ist hier ein bisschen faul."
Weder TransWorld noch Thrasher haben bisher auf Steve Berras Vorwürfe reagiert.
Hat Berra recht, muss Nyjah auf die Liste, wird hier betrogen?

I’m not sure who’s more full of shit, transworld or Thrasher. No Nyjah? Come on guys, this is skateboarding and it encompasses all of it. Don’t leave out his part just because it was on Thrasher.
Congrats to all the guys who made this list, you ALL deserve it, but Is transworld trying to tell me that they did a Reader’s poll and Nyjah Huston with 455k Instagram followers didn’t make it in the top 7. Who the fuck is voting? Transworld, Thrasher, if you’re gonna ask people to vote, at least count it. I know how people vote, we do them all the time and lemme tell ya, something is starting to smell a little fishy around here.
I want to make it clear that I’m not against Ishod wining the thrasher award. He’s amazing. That is not my point. My point is, don’t have a vote if you’re just going to ignore it and pick whoever you want. It’s totally fine if you do that, just leave the voting process out. That’s all. Otherwise it’s a waste of time.
